As mentioned at Server Administration Guide it was possible for me to activate the declarative user profile. I configured additional user attributes and they were visible in the registration form. After logging in to the account console I didn’t found a form to display or change my additional attributes.
Did I overlook a switch or configuration to enable this feature in the account console? Or is it currently not supported?
The declarative user profile is still a preview feature. Thus, it may be subject to change and/or not yet implemented at every component.
I would also be interested in the state of this feature. I see that this is still a preview feature, but then the documentation also says this:
Ideally, you should start looking at the new capabilities provided by the User Profile and migrate your realms accordingly.
This, to me, sounds as if we can expect this feature rather sooner than later and it would be unwise to build a new system using keycloak using legacy / current behaviour. We’d obviously hate to setup our user profiles knowing that we’ll need to migrate everything in a couple of months anyway. But if declarative user profiles will not be ready anytime soon, we’ll need to stick with legacy behaviour.
Is there any way to get at least a rough estimate on this?
