Free Realm in hosted Keycloak

The Keycloak consulting and services company I work for has launched a self-service deployment tool, which allows you to easily create a free Keycloak Realm in our US or EU clusters.

Much of the discussion on this forum and the mailing lists are setup and configuration issues that block new users from trying out Keycloak. Our goal was to make it as easy as possible to get started and evaluate Keycloak. This is currently designed for testing and validation use, but you may also use it for live applications. In the future, we will offer an SLA, dedicated instances, and BYODB (“bring your own database”) in the region of your choosing for compliance and data locality needs.

The clusters that run our deployments are currently available in two regions (AWS, us-west-2 and eu-central-1), and are backed by CockroachDB, giving you scale, resilience and low-latency performance. We will add more clusters over time as indicated by demand.

We hope you find this new tool valuable, and we look forward to feedback and participation from both our customers and the wider Keycloak community.

See the launch announcement.
