@cric1… ya i was following the same documentation even i am getting the same error.
Is it worked for you in domain mode? as in standalone.xml it is working.

I have not checked with the domain mode.

okay i am actually doing keycloak clustering.

You can just put up a self signed cert or one from Lets Encrypt to overcome this.

Nope, not there but there is no reason why it should not work.
