Identity Provider Link in User not being updated

For our SAAS tool we initially had one identity provider set up. We had no issues. In keycloak all users had the identity provider names “CÊS”.

We needed to change and add a new identity provider named “MyId”. We successfully set it up.

Now, if a user who has never login in before, the user can access the system and in they user profile the Identity Prover Link states, MyId.

ALL users who have login before, who currently have “Cês”, get an invalid user name and password error. Essentially, their users identity provider link is not being updated.

However, if we delete the user or manually change it to MyId, they are able to login. Without this workaround, any ideas on how we could solve this? We would really appreciate some help.
