Setting the HTTP port for Keycloak-X

Hello,

Trying to run Keycloak-X using an alternate HTTP port. According to this doc keycloak-community/configuration.md at main · keycloak/keycloak-community · GitHub

I should be able to do this:

$ ./bin/kc.sh --http.port=8180 start-dev
Unknown option: '--http.port=8180'

but i get an “Unknown option” error.

Any ideas? Thank you!

Hey, sorry for the late reply. You should use --http-port instead of http.port, then it’ll work :slight_smile: CLI is all dash-case. The new Version of Keycloak.X, which will be shipped together with KC16, will bring many enhancements, e.g. command completion for bash/zsh, so feel free to try it out by getting latest main from github and building via mvn clean install -DskipTests -Pdistribution :wink:

That works, but not with start-dev.

Thanks for the tips. I’ll check out the upcoming version.

No problem. You are right, there was a bug in 15 w.r.t. this. It’s solved in latest main, see attached screenshot :slight_smile:
