I’m trying to use Keycloak 19.0.1 as an OIDC broker to an external IdP. This IdP requires basic authentication for the Token request, which I have chosen in the drop down menu (img below). The authorization step passes. But during my tests there is no Authorization: Basic header sent with the token request and the request fails. I’ve captured the request and the Client secret is included in the POST form.
Am I missing something? Could it be a bug?
According to the specification at Final: OpenID Connect Core 1.0 incorporating errata set 1 , Basic is a supported and default authentication method.
