Created a new user in the master realm and tried access http://localhost:8080/admin/master/console/ and initially I had the dialog where it asked to reset my password which I did. But now trying to load the console it just spins and spins.
You created a regular user and tried to access the admin-ui!?
Well, that’s the reason why it won’t work. The user has not the proper admin permissions to access the admin-ui.
The admin-ui is for admins only, not for regular users. With regular users, try to access the account-console at https://<host>/realms/<realm>/account
